Job Description

Postdoctoral positions in molecular biology are available at the Department of Dermatology, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. We are actively searching for highly motivated and exceptionally qualified candidates with a Ph.D or Ph.D/MD to develop multi-valent mRNA vaccines and innovative systems for their delivery. The primary focus of this research is to elicit robust mucosal immunity against respiratory viral infections.

The candidates will also have opportunities to work with other fellows in the laboratory in various research fields, including allergy, sample-free blood biomarker detection, universal influenza vaccines, laser-based antimicrobe technology, and photobiomodulation-mediated regeneration. As a major Boston teaching hospital and teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital provides an excellent research environment with a range of training opportunities available via both MGH and HMS. The postdoctoral fellows will be appointed at the Harvard Medical School and will receive a salary according to NIH and HMS guidelines.

Requirement: The ideal candidates should have a Ph.D or Ph.D/MD degree with strong background in molecular biology and immunology demonstrated by publications. Preference will be given to an individual who can work independently and write manuscripts and scientific reports at a high level. The position also requires experience in working with animals.
