We are seeking a highly-motivated postdoctoral scientist interested in conducting basic-translational research in the joint labs of Drs. Harriet Kluger and David Schoenfeld at the Yale Cancer Center / Yale School of Medicine, with a focus on cancer immunotherapy. The lab studies determinants of response to immunotherapy in renal cell carcinoma and melanoma and investigates novel immunotherapies, with a particular focus on cytokine-based drugs, using immune competent murine models and human cell culture systems for early drug development. We also study mechanisms and determinants of immune-related adverse events. We employ intermediate and high-throughput molecular profiling platforms to interrogate the blood and tumors of patients receiving immunotherapy. The specific project will be tailored to the skillset of the individual.

Candidates with PhD, or MD/PhD degrees and experience in a variety of molecular techniques, animal experiments, and data analytics are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will spend at least two years in the position and be passionate about scientific investigation to advance cancer care. Successful candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the lab.

Interested applicants should email their CV and cover letter describing their research goals and career aspirations to Harriet.Kluger@yale.edu
