The Moonah Lab in the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases & Global Medicine seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate (RA). The RA is responsible for designing, managing and conducting experiments on molecular biology; mucosal inflammation; and gut repair in the Moonah Laboratory. The project aims to create protozoa that can deliver proteins in the gut. Training, experience and ability to work in molecular biology is required.

The Department of Epidemiology (http://epidemiology.phhp.ufl.edu/) at the University of Florida invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate, available immediately, in the area of molecular epidemiology of breast cancer. The Postdoctoral Associate will work with a multidisciplinary team of investigators on projects that focus on molecular markers in benign breast disease and breast cancer, contributions of gut microbiome to breast health, and other related analyses. The successful candidate will work on large prospective cohort data and assist in managing laboratory analyses, including immunohistochemistry and tissue marker expression data. Expectations include performing statistical analysis, writing articles for publications, presenting findings in conferences, and submitting extramural funding proposals.
