The research focus of the group is on fundamental materials science, mechanics, seismic risk mitigation, computational methods, 3D Printing, cement paste rheology, eco-friendly construction materials, composite materials, and applied research including sustainable materials for structural applications, and rehabilitation of structures. The successful candidate will conduct quality research related to the scope of the group. A track record of peer reviewed journal publications in the focus area of the group is required. In addition, the candidate shall actively participate in the activities of the group. The candidate will report directly to the research group coordinator and work in close collaboration with group members, other researchers, PhD and Master students, and research assistants. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS ​Conduct high-quality and innovative research in the research group focus areas; Design and conduct experiments, perform data analysis and make presentations; Publish research findings in high-impact journals and conferences; Generate new high-impact ideas; Provide support to PhD and Master students in the field of construction materials and structures; Provide support to organize outreach activities such as conferences, workshops, seminars, etc. Follow all University policies regulations for safe working procedures Any other responsibility assigned by the group coordinator.
