Description
Postdoctoral position is immediately available for a highly motivated candidate to work on NIH funded preclinical projects in the laboratory of Dr. Steve Lim. The project will investigate the role of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) regulating epigenetic machineries in vascular diseases and cancer. These studies will be complemented by preclinical models using a small molecule FAK inhibitor and evaluating patient derived specimens.


Qualification
Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in biomedical science or related discipline are encouraged to apply. Strong motivation, good communication skills and the ability to work independently are required. Previous experience in relevant fields including cell culture, animal handling, and molecular biology techniques is desirable.
